SPI, as a member of the Project SaveH2O - “Save Water for an Horizon of Opportunities”, participated in the Project’s Final Conference, which took place on June 30th, in Zadar, Croatia. The objective of the event was to disseminate the project results and to present the online tools that will help European SMEs to calculate their business' Water Footprint. More than 100 participants representing SMEs and businesses associations, VET providers, consultancy for SMEs and public authorities participated on the conference.
SaveH2O Project, coordinated by the Agency for Rural Development of Zadar County, Croatia, is cofunded by the European Union through Erasmus+ Programme. The main result of the project is a complete training course, accessible as an online open educational resource, addressed to European Small and Medium Sized Enterprises willing to improve their business’ sustainability performance while improving the competitiveness of their production systems.
Additionally, SPI also participated in the 4th transnational project meeting, which took place on July 1st, in Zadar (Croatia). During the meeting, the partners discussed the finalization of the online tools of the project and also planned the last dissemination activities to be organized by the partners during the last months of the project.
This way, SPI organized the seminar “SaveH2O: The Water Footprint in the Business sector”, on Porto (June 21st) and Lisbon (July 13th). The participants learned the Water Footprint of a business, its risks and opportunities, and the online tools of the project were also presented:
