Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação participated in the BILAT USA 4.0 project consortium meeting - http://www.euussciencetechnology.eu, funded under the Horizon 2020 program of the European Commission in Washington, United States of America. The meeting took place between October 23th and 24th and was attended by the members of the project consortium, of which SPI is a partner entity.
The project aims to promote interactions between researchers and innovators from the European Union (EU) and the US, support the improvement of the structural conditions of research and innovation, provide analysis that deliver a solid basis for decision-making and greater coordination and synergy between the different EU and US policies and programs.
The meeting was attended by project partners from a wide range of organizations and from different countries, such as Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland and the United States of America. The partners had the opportunity to discuss relevant information about the state of the tasks and to plan the next steps. SPI is responsible for identifying and determining events that fit the thematic workshops in both the EU and the United States and for preparing a report on best practices in support schemes in international industry and key success factors, already made and available on the project’s website.
